About Me
I'm the guy behind the eCampaigning Forum which I have been organising irregularly since 2002. I made my mark in the e-campaigning world during 3 years as Oxfam GB's eCampaigning Manager and left in June 2005 to start FairSay.
FairSay has been a plan since 1999, and the Oxfam GB role was a stepping-stone in that (with their full knowledge!) . FairSay currently provides e-campaigning advice and support plus develops open source e-campaigning tools.
My areas of expertise include:
- eCampaigning reviews (analyse and report) through which I learnt what needed to be done to transform Oxfam GB's e-campaigning 2001-2004.
- eCampaigning best practice for recruiting new supporters, getting people active and retaining them. My best practice knowledge is shaped by my eCampaigning Review work
- International coalition campaigning to know the possibilities, best practices and challenges of working with coalitions and/or international multilingual campaigns
- Internet application development - conceptualising and project managing Internet applications that work for the end users and deliver the desired results for the sponsor organisation
